I had been visiting family in the UK when I found the car I had always wanted. Problem was I didn't know how to even start the process of getting back to my home in Johannesburg.
I contacted Oakbridge who were instantly able to help. They advised me of the sailings from Tilbury and Southampton to Durban and that it would take between 3 and 4 weeks to be shipped and ready for collection.
They arranged for the car to travel 'Roll-on Roll-off' which was cheaper than to send it in a container. They also managed all the customs clearance through an agent and I did not even need to be back in Durban to collect it when it arrived - the car was simply consigned to someone else so I could continue my stay in the UK.
Oakbridge managed all the paperwork as well - all I had to do was continue my holiday and the car was ready for me to drive back home to Johannesburg when I returned.
